Polish-Taiwanese Partnership for Smart Cities

The 8Foundry Alliance cluster once again connected the worlds of business and local governments—on November 12, a meeting was held between Polish cities and Taiwanese technology giants. Participants included David Chen from Taipei Computer Association and Betty Lin, CEO of Taiwan Smart City Solutions. The meeting aimed to start concrete talks on joint smart city projects.

• From Gdynia: Vice President Tomasz Augustyniak, Piotr Wiśniewski—President of the Gdynia Information Technology Center, Anna Borkowska—President of the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park, and Joanna Leman, Head of International Cooperation Office, Gdynia City Office.
• From the Metropolis GZM: Jacek Woźnikowski—Director of the Department of Socio-Economic Development and Cooperation.
• From Lublin: Krzysztof Stanowski—Director of the International Cooperation Office, his deputy Roman Jaborkhel, and Marcin Garbowski from the Strategy and Investor Relations Department.
• From Sochaczew: Mayor Daniel Janiak, Małgorzata Przybylska, Head of the Development and External Funds Department. Member of Parliament Maciej Małecki also participated.
• From Radom: Vice President Katarzyna Kalinowska.

From Discussions to Implementation
