Gdynia in 8Foundry Alliance – Strengthening the Cluster’s Potential
8Foundry Alliance gains a new, strategic partner – the City of Gdynia has officially joined the cluster. This is a step that significantly expands the cluster’s capabilities and strengthens the international dimension of our cooperation.
Why does collaboration with Gdynia matter?
Gdynia is not just one of Poland’s major port cities – it is above all a place where transportation and business corridors connecting three continents intersect. Its connections with Europe, Asia, and Africa give the city a unique role in the international trade and logistics system.
Gdynia is now the third city in the 8Foundry Alliance cluster, alongside Przemyśl and Sochaczew. Each of these cities brings unique competencies and location, and together they form a strong inter-regional cooperation network. And this is not the end – the cluster map will continue to expand.
“This is a breakthrough moment for us. Gdynia is a city of strategic importance that will definitely strengthen our cluster. We want to thank President Aleksandra Kosiorek for her trust and willingness to work together” – emphasizes Rafał Maryś from 8Foundry Alliance.
What’s next?
Gdynia already has its representatives in the cluster – these are Łączpol and the Port of Gdynia. However, this is just the beginning; ahead of us lies the construction of a broader network of partners and projects that will combine the potential of science, business, and local government.
Our goal is to create real solutions that translate into benefits for residents and the region’s competitiveness. Gdynia fits perfectly into this vision, and we look forward with enthusiasm to what we can achieve together.
