Clusters thrive on meetings. Not documents, not reports, not procedures – but real conversations that happen over coffee, at a whiteboard, in front of a laptop full of ideas. That’s exactly why we regularly step outside the office and visit our members where they work.

This time, our route took us to Radom and Gdynia. Two different cities, two completely different organisations, two different ways of talking about technology and innovation. That contrast made every conversation energetic and full of fresh ideas.

Symbiosis Foundation and Gdynia Maritime University – Two Worlds, One Cluster

The Symbiosis Foundation from Radom builds bridges between academia and the real world of business and local communities. It focuses on educational projects, social innovation and collaborative networks – exactly where a cluster can make the strongest impact.

Gdynia Maritime University educates specialists for the maritime, logistics and emerging technology sectors. It combines academic tradition with a practical research approach – making it a genuine partner for internationally oriented projects.

At both locations, the agenda was packed. We talked about new project ideas and opportunities that have emerged in recent months – from funding to new partnerships. We also took stock of what we’ve already achieved together.

Relationships, Not Procedures

We don’t visit our members only when a certification renewal is due. We come because we care about what’s happening with them – what’s working, what excites them, what keeps them up at night. Because a cluster isn’t a registry – it’s a living network of relationships, built conversation by conversation, visit by visit.

And that’s exactly how we intend to keep going.
