8Foundry Alliance at Przemyska Scena Biznesu: Taiwan Beyond Semiconductors

8Foundry Alliance joined forces with Taipei Computer Association (TCA) at Przemyska Scena Biznesu in Przemyśl – for a conversation about Taiwan that deliberately avoided the obvious (semiconductors). 

David Chen from TCA introduced an organization most Polish entrepreneurs have never heard of: an association representing over 3,100 Taiwanese companies, one of the largest industry bodies of its kind in Asia. He mapped the areas where Taiwan is actively looking for new partners and extended an open invitation to visit Smart City Expo in Taipei next year -a practical first step for anyone serious about entering the market.

The 8Foundry-Alliance side of the stage focused on blue ocean thinking: how the cluster reads markets that don’t make the front page, what Taiwan looks like when you move past the semiconductor narrative, and what membership in a cluster actually gives you beyond the obvious. The corridors after the panel delivered what they usually do -the sharper conversations.

Mayor Wojciech Bakun joined the event representing Urząd Miejski w Przemyślu -the city has been the cluster’s 14th member since last year. The event was organized by Przemyska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego.
