8Foundry Alliance at the PFNI

The Podkarpacki Festival of Science and Innovation (PFNI) is underway in Jasionka. It is one of the region’s most important events. Importantly, PFNI connects science, education, and business in one place.

Thanks to close cooperation with the Podkarpackie region, 8Foundry Alliance joined the festival. Moreover, the Podkarpackie Centre for Innovation (PCI) organizes the event. PCI has also belonged to our cluster since August 2025.

Building a strong innovation ecosystem

At PFNI, Rafał Magryś, Chairman of the Cluster Council, represented 8Foundry Alliance. In addition, he met with H.E. Anastase Shyaki, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to Poland. Together, they joined discussions with regional authorities and international guests.

The Ambassador’s presence clearly underscored the growing value of international regional relations. At the same time, it showed real openness to new development paths.

Why cooperation with Africa matters

Notably, the meetings involving the Ambassador became one of the event’s key highlights. They also confirmed how important cooperation with Africa is today. This applies to both technology and education.

Therefore, for 8Foundry Alliance, Africa remains a key direction for development and long-term collaboration.

Together, we build a strong cluster community

As a cluster that connects business, education, public institutions, and local governments, we actively create space for new initiatives. Additionally, we strengthen local and regional competencies.

However, our role goes beyond presence at events. We consistently support our members. For example, we look for new cooperation opportunities, development partnerships, and expansion paths..

8Foundry Alliance acts on multiple levels:

• Locally, supporting local governments, schools, and entrepreneurs in building modern competencies,
• Regionally, co-creating Podkarpacie as a strong innovation hub on the map of Poland,
• Nationally, integrating technological ecosystems across different voivodeships,
• Globally, opening doors for our members to international projects and partnerships.

As a result, our presence at PFNI proves that we act broadly and consistently. Most importantly, we support our community at every level—from local governments and business to international partners.
